1. Frank R. Kardes (1999), in his book of Consumer Behavior and Managerial Decision Making, makes it clear for the definition of consumer behavior. "Consumer behavior is the study of human response to products, service, and the marketing of products and services." (p. 3).

2. What is consumer behavior? As Michael R. Solomon states the definition of consumer behavior in his pulished book Consumer Behavior : Buying, Having, and Being, "The field of consumer behavior covers a lot of ground : It is the study of the processes involved when individuals or groups select, purchase, use, or dispose of products, services, ideas, or experiences to satisfy needs and desires." (p.7).

3. What is consumer behavior? Three researchers, James F. Engel,  Roger D. Blackwell and  Paul W. Miniard, in their publish book Consumer Behavior, they define the clear definition of consumer behavior "consumer behavior as those activities directly involved in obtaining, consuming, and disposing of products and services, including the decision processes that precede and follow these actions" (p. 4).

How about this: Frank R. Kardes, in his book of Consumer Behavior and Managerial Decision Making (1999), defines consumer behavior as "the study of human response to products, service, and the marketing of products and services." (p. 3).
